Product description
Katarek Travel is a 2-in-1 solution for oral aspiration and for a vacuum cleaner in children from 1 day of age. The use of an aspirator is important as the residual discharge may cause discomfort and lead to serious health problems for the nose, ears, throat and respiratory tract. The version for a vacuum cleaner can cope with a thick and residual runny nose. When traveling, on a walk, when it is not possible to use a vacuum cleaner, the oral version of the aspirator comes in handy, which will also work in everyday care. Cosmetic bag packaging is a practical solution when traveling.
Application
Removal of nasal secretions in children.
Usage method
Effective use of the aspirator is possible while maintaining a natural body posture. It is good for the adult using the device to hold the child in their lap or in their arms.
Place the aspirator tip so that it blocks one nostril and hold it for a few seconds while monitoring mucus extraction.
The previous steps should be repeated on the same or the other nostril.
Expression time is approximately 5 seconds per nostril.
When finished, clean the device as described in the manual.
Repeat pumping 2-3 times a day or as often as necessary.
Aspirator connected to the vacuum cleaner:
- connect the chamber with the tip, insert the narrow end of the aspirator into the connector and insert its conical end into the suction tube of the vacuum cleaner,
- take the baby in your arms or put the baby on your lap,
- put the tip of the aspirator to the nostril for a few seconds and suck off the mucus,
- repeat the action on the other buttonhole,
- turn off the vacuum cleaner and clean the aspirator as indicated.
Oral Aspirator:
- connect the chamber with the tip and insert the mouthpiece into the adapter,
- take the baby in your arms or put the baby on your lap,
- put the tip of the aspirator to the nostril, put the mouthpiece in your mouth and express the secretion,
- repeat the action on the other buttonhole,
- after cleaning the nose, clean the aspirator according to the directions.

The service life of the device is 3 years. Safe to use, provided that the instructions for use are followed.
Important tips
The aspirator tip should be cleaned with a soft cloth or pharmaceutical grade alcohol swabs. Do not use other chemicals for this.
The device should only be used in the designated area of use.
Before each use of the product, thoroughly clean the tip.
Store the aspirator in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and heat radiation.
Rinse the device thoroughly with hot water before use. Do not soak in detergent.
After each use, immediately clean the device with warm tap water and a child-friendly detergent.
Warnings
The safe power range of the vacuum cleaner is 800-1800W. See the vacuum cleaner instruction manual.
The nasal aspirator and vacuum cleaner are not children's toys. Katarek Travel can only be used by adults who have read the instructions.
Do not use the aspirator if any of its components are damaged or missing.
Ask for medical advice before using an aspirator if you have haemophilia or have frequent nosebleeds.
If you develop an allergic rash or redness in the area of your baby's nose while using the aspirator, discontinue use and contact your doctor.
When using an aspirator on several children, it is recommended to use different attachments for each child and keep them signed.
