Koninklijke Utermohlen Fast BandageKoninklijke Utermöhlen NV was founded in 1880 and has traditionally been a well-known name in wound care. The company became nationally and internationally known when it invented the quick bandage in 1901. An innovation that made it possible to quickly bandage heavily bleeding (gunshot) wounds and thereby saved many soldiers' lives during the wars that were waged at the time. Because of this life-saving innovation, the company was awarded the 'Royal' designation by Queen Wilhelmina, which it still retains to this day.
