Product description

Lasolvan® syrup with a strawberry-cream flavor is a mucolytic agent that reduces the viscosity of sputum and improves its removal from the respiratory tract, facilitates expectoration and reduces cough.

Ambroxol hydrochloride - the active substance of the drug - increases the release of pulmonary surfactant, which leads to the thinning of sputum in the respiratory tract in acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with disorders of the removal of viscous mucus.

It has an anti-inflammatory effect, reduces pain and redness in the treatment of diseases of the upper respiratory tract.

Indications for use

Secretolytic therapy for acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with violation of bronchial secretion and weakening of the promotion of mucus.

Contraindication

Lasolvan® with a strawberry-cream flavor, syrup, cannot be used in patients with hypersensitivity to ambroxol hydrochloride or to other components of the drug.

Lasolvan® with a strawberry-cream flavor, syrup, cannot be used for children under 2 years of age without a doctor's prescription.

Advantages

Expectorants are able to thin thick sputum, remove sputum from the respiratory tract and protect lung tissue.

Ambroxol is an expectorant with a triple effect: it facilitates the liquefaction of sputum, its removal and strengthens the protection of the lungs.

Protective properties of ambroxol:

Reduces inflammation.
It has an antioxidant effect and strengthens the protection of the lungs.
Thins sputum, facilitates its expectoration.
Increases the concentration of antibiotics in lung tissues.

Increases the formation of surfactant in the lungs, a special substance that contributes to the "washing" of sputum from the walls of the bronchi and its subsequent removal.

Ambroxol is a remedy for cough in children and adults. It has proven efficacy and a favorable safety profile. A wide selection of release forms will help to choose an individual treatment for each family member.

Method of application and dosage

Children under 2 years of age: 1.25 ml 2 times a day.
Children aged 2 to 5 years: 1.25 ml 3 times a day.
Children aged 6 to 12 years: 2.5 ml 2-3 times a day.
Adults and children older than 12 years: 5 ml 3 times a day for the first 2-3 days and then 5 ml 2 times a day.

If necessary, the therapeutic effect for adults and children over 12 years old can be increased by increasing the dose to 10 ml 2 times a day.

Lasolvan® with strawberry-cream flavor, syrup, 30 mg / 5 ml, should not be used for longer than 4-5 days without consulting a doctor.

Can be used regardless of meals.

The dose of syrup can be measured using the measuring cap that is included.

Suitable for use by patients with diabetes (5 ml contains 1.2 g of carbohydrates).

Does not contain alcohol.

Children

The drug can be used in pediatric practice.

For children under 2 years of age, use as prescribed by a doctor.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

Pregnancy. As a result of clinical studies of the use of the drug after the 28th week of pregnancy, no harmful effects on the fetus were found.

Breast feeding. Lasolvan® is not recommended for use during breastfeeding.

Composition

Active substance: ambroxol hydrochloride; 5 ml of syrup contains ambroxol hydrochloride 30 mg.

Excipients: benzoic acid (E 210), hydroxyethyl cellulose, acesulfame potassium (E 950), sorbitol solution does not crystallize (E 420), glycerin 85%, strawberry-cream flavor, vanilla flavor, purified water.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature no higher than 25 °C in a place inaccessible to children.
