In childhood, the lactase enzyme promotes the high-quality assimilation of milk and dairy products.

In adults, the enzyme lactase allows you to fully include milk, dairy products and products containing milk sugar lactose in the diet, and helps to eliminate symptoms of lactose intolerance, such as discomfort in the intestines, increased gas and bloating, and unstable stools.

Lactose (milk sugar) is the primary sugar found in all types of milk, composed of two molecules: glucose and galactose. Glucose is the main source of energy for a child, and galactose is necessary for the synthesis of galactocerebrosides, which are required for the normal development of the brain and retina in the first months of a child's life. For the absorption of these molecules in the intestine, lactose must be previously cleaved (hydrolyzed) by the enzyme lactase, which is produced on the apical surface of the villi of the small intestine. When this enzyme is absent or produced in insufficient quantities, lactose is not hydrolyzed, which leads to lactose intolerance or so-called lactase deficiency, which is manifested by intestinal colic. In young children, lactase deficiency may be due to the "immaturity" of the intestinal enzymatic systems, insufficient production of the enzyme lactase, which breaks down milk sugar (lactose).

Recommendations for use

Mamalak® is recommended as a dietary supplement to the main diet for children and adults with milk intolerance caused by lactase deficiency.

Structure

1 capsule contains:

• Lactase - 7 mg (700 ALU).
• Maltodextrin.
• Gelatin (capsule shell).

Mode of application

Recommended to consume:

• children from birth to one year old - the contents of one capsule per 100 ml of breast milk or milk formula;
• children aged one to 3 years - add the contents of 1–5 capsules (depending on the volume of the portion of milk, milk formula or products containing lactose) to the food.

For breastfeeding: open the capsule and pour its contents into 10-15 ml of expressed breast milk, leave for 5-10 minutes for fermentation, give to the baby and continue breastfeeding as usual.

With artificial feeding: open the capsule and pour its contents into warm (30-40 ° C) milk mixture, leave for 5-10 minutes for fermentation and continue feeding as usual.

Recommended to be taken before every use of milk, dairy products and lactose-containing products.

Do not add to hot.
