indications:

Melatonin LEK-AM is used as an adjunct in: sleep disorders associated with disturbances in the sleep and wake rhythm, e.g. sleep disorders associated with the change of time zones, or in connection with shift work, disturbances in the circadian rhythm of sleep and wake in blind patients.

Features:

Melatonin is a naturally occurring hormone in the human body that is produced in the central nervous system by the pineal gland. This hormone plays an important role in regulating the hours of sleep and wakefulness throughout the day. Melatonin LEK-AM is a synthetically produced equivalent of a natural hormone.

Usage and dosage of Melatonin LEK-AM 5mg tablets:
For time zone related sleep disorders: 2 mg to 3 mg melatonin once daily after nightfall, starting on the first day of travel. Continue treatment for 2-3 consecutive days after travel.

In disorders of the circadian rhythm of sleep and wakefulness related to, for example, shift work: 1 mg to 5 mg daily, one hour before bedtime.

In disorders of the circadian rhythm of sleep and wakefulness in blind people, the dose should be taken from 0.5 mg to 5 mg once a day around 21: 00-22: 00.

This dosage also applies to long-term use of the preparation . The effect of the preparation is observed gradually, often 2 weeks after taking the preparation.

Contraindications:

Do not use the preparation if you are allergic to melatonin or any of the other ingredients of Melatonin LEK-AM, after drinking alcohol, during pregnancy or lactation.

1 tablet of Melatonin LEK-AM contains the active substance: 5 mg of Melatonin and excipients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica.
