Indications

For short-term symptomatic treatment: mild to moderate pain, e.g. toothache, headache, fever in children weighing 10 kg or more (from 1 year of age), in adolescents and adults.

Composition

1 ml of suspension contains: active substance: 40 mg ibuprofen and excipients: sodium benzoate (E211), anhydrous citric acid, sodium citrate, sodium saccharin, sodium chloride, 15cP hypromellose, xanthan gum, liquid maltitol, glycerol (E422), thaumatin (E957) , strawberry flavor (natural flavors, maltodextrin, triethyl citrate (E1505), propylene glycol (E1520) and benzyl alcohol), purified water.

Action

Relieving pain and fever.

Dosage

Orally; children from 1 to 3 years (10-15 kg): a single dose of 2.5 ml of suspension (100 mg), total daily dose of 7.5 ml of suspension (300 mg); children from 4 to 5 years (16-20 kg): a single dose of 3.75 ml of suspension (150 mg), total daily dose of 11.25 ml of suspension (450 mg); children from 6 to 9 years (21-29 kg): single dose of 5 ml of suspension (200 mg), total daily dose of 15 ml of suspension (600 mg); children from 10 to 11 years of age (30-39 kg): single dose of 5 ml of suspension (200 mg), total daily dose of 20 ml of suspension (800 mg); adolescents from 12 years of age and adults (weighing 40 kg and above): single dose of 5-10 ml of suspension (200-400 mg), total daily dose of 30 ml of suspension (1200 mg). The interval between successive doses should be at least 6 hours. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Contraindications

Preparation (hypersensitivity) to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients of this medicine; if you have ever had bronchospasm, an attack of bronchial asthma, swelling of the lining of the nose (rhinitis), angioedema or skin reactions (urticaria) in connection with taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations; unexplained hematopoietic disorders; gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation due to previous NSAIDs; gastric / duodenal ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding; cerebral bleeding or other active bleeding; severe liver, kidney or heart failure; severe dehydration (caused by vomiting, diarrhea or insufficient fluid intake); 3rd trimester of pregnancy; not recommended for children under the age of 1 or weighing less than 10 kg.
