Indications
For patients with symptoms of cold-related infection.
Composition
1 effervescent tablet contains 600 mg of acetylcysteine (Acetylcysteinum); the other ingredients are: citric acid anhydrous, isomalt, sodium bicarbonate, ascorbic acid, aspartame (E951), lemon flavor.
Action
It thins the secretion of the respiratory tract and makes it easier to expectorate.
Dosage
Adults: 600 mg of acetylcysteine (1 effervescent tablet) once a day. The medicinal product should not be used for more than 5 days without the recommendation of a physician. The effervescent tablet should be dissolved in 1/2 glass of water and drunk immediately after dissolving. The solution is clear and colorless. Use no later than 4 hours before bedtime due to the possibility of thin secretions remaining in the bronchi. During treatment, it is recommended to drink more fluids. Increased coughing is possible after taking the preparation.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to acetylcysteine or any of the excipients, asthmatic state, phenylketonuria. Due to the amount of the active substance, the product should not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
