Indications:

Neosine is a preparation with antiviral and immunostimulating effects. Recommended supportively for people with reduced immunity in the case of recurrent upper respiratory tract infections.

Features:

Neosine is an antiviral medicine that increases the body's immunity (stimulates the immune system).

Usage:

The dose of Neosine is based on the patient's weight and depends on the severity of the disease. The recommended dose is 50 mg / kg body weight per day.
The daily dose should be divided into equal single doses given several times a day. The duration of treatment is usually between 5 and 14 days.
After the symptoms have subsided, treatment should be continued for another 1 to 2 days.
Adults including the elderly (over 65 years): 1 ml / kg body weight / day, usually 3 g (i.e. 60 ml syrup per day), given in 3 or 4 divided doses.
Use in children older than 1 year: The recommended dose is 50 mg / kg body weight / day, usually 1 ml per 1 kg body weight in 3 or 4 equal divided doses given daily.

Contraindications:

The medicinal product should not be used:

in patients with hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients
in patients who are currently suffering from gout or increased blood uric acid levels.
