Nutrition Group PLC

Nutrition Group plc is the UK’s fastest growing contract manufacturer within the Health Supplements and Sports Nutrition market sectors. Under the former name of RPL, Nutrition Group plc was founded by Peter Greathead in Lytham, Lancashire in 1993. Over the last two decades, The Group has grown to become a renowned and trusted British manufacturer on an international scale.

Back in 1993, the company provided tableting, hard gel encapsulation and powder blending to the nutraceutical market. As product demand increased, The Group moved to a new, larger premises in Bispham, Lancashire and were shortly afterwards awarded a GMP Manufacturing Licence, BRC Certification and achieved ISO 9001:2008 standard. In its recent history, Nutrition Group acquired two further companies that offered additional services within the same industry: Gelfi, a specialist supply company built on the provision of generic softgel and specialist formulation products and NatraHealth, a contract packer and private label supplier to multiple retailers. Both of these businesses have now been fully integrated into the Nutrition Group facility.
