Contraindications

• hypersensitivity to the active substance or to the auxiliary substances of the preparation;
• a history of bleeding or perforation in the gastrointestinal tract associated with previous treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations (NSAIDs);
• like other NSAIDs, aceclofenac is also contraindicated in patients in whom the use of acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs provokes attacks of bronchial asthma, angioedema, urticaria or acute rhinitis;
• bronchial asthma;
• history of active peptic ulcer / bleeding or recurrent peptic ulcer / bleeding (two or more separate episodes of established ulcer or bleeding);
• active bleeding or bleeding disorders;
• severe hepatic or renal impairment;
• congestive heart failure (NYHA II-IV);
• cardiac ischemia;
• peripheral arterial disease;
• cerebrovascular diseases, including stroke or episodes of transient ischemic attack;
• treatment of perioperative pain with coronary artery bypass grafting (or the use of a heart-lung machine);
• inflammatory bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis);
• III trimester of pregnancy or lactation period;
• childhood.
