Indications

In the course of inflammation of the middle ear, eardrum and external auditory canal. Otinum is used in: acute inflammation of the middle ear, eardrum and external auditory canal, softening hardened earwax before removing it from the ear.

Composition

1g of drops contains: 200 mg of choline salicylate and excipients: glycerol, ethanol 96%, chlorobutanol hemihydrate, purified water.

Action

Analgesic and anti-inflammatory.

Dosage

The drug should be used exactly as described in the leaflet or according to the doctor's instructions. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Only apply topically to the ear.

Adults:

Inflammation of the middle ear, eardrum and external auditory canal: usually 3-4 drops into the external ear canal 3-4 times a day.

To soften hardened earwax before removing it from the ear: usually 3-4 drops into the external ear canal twice a day for four days.

Elderly people, people with impaired liver and kidney function. There is no need to change the dosage.

The instillation should be performed with the patient lying on his side, with the ear facing up. After instillation, the patient should remain in the position for several minutes.

Contraindications

If you are allergic to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients, if you have a perforation (rupture) of the eardrum.
