Indications

The preparation has an analgesic effect in headaches, throat, migraines, toothaches, bone, joint and muscle pains, and painful menstruation. In addition, it can be used in colds and flu-like conditions.

Composition

1 tablet contains: active substances: paracetamol 500 mg, caffeine 65 mg and excipients: gelatinized starch, corn starch, povidone (K 25), potassium sorbate, talc, stearic acid, sodium croscarmellose (type A). the shell contains: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, triacetin.

Action

Paracetamol relieves pain and fever. Caffeine has a stimulating effect on the central nervous system and enhances the analgesic effect of paracetamol.

Dosage

Adults and children over 12 years of age: orally, 1-2 tablets up to 4 times a day. Do not take the preparation more often than every 4 hours or take more than 8 tablets a day. The preparation should not be used regularly for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor.

Contraindications

Allergy to any component of the preparation, alcoholism, severe liver or kidney failure, cardiac arrhythmias, insomnia, deficiency of certain enzymes, do not use in children under 12 years of age, pregnancy, lactation.

Panadol Extra is a funny drug. It only works for tiny headaches, which I would never take any medication for, because it's not worth it. But if I don't get rid of these pains as soon as possible, they'll be neuralgia in a moment. Pain raises the pulse and increases the risk of a heart rupture in eds6a (which is the main cause of heart disease in this disease), so in a way even panadol can save someone's life. :)
