Duodenal ulcer.

Gastric ulcer.

Reflux esophagitis moderate to severe.

Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other pathological hypersecretory conditions.

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients of the preparation, substituted benzimidazole.

Pantoprazole, like other proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), should not be co-administered with atazanavir.

Dosage and administration

The introduction of the preparation is recommended only in the case when its use orally is not possible.

Gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer and moderate to severe reflux esophagitis

1 bottle (40 mg pantoprazole) per day.

Peptic ulcers complicated by gastrointestinal bleeding, in order to prevent re-bleeding - Pangastro 80 mg bolus, then in the form of a drip infusion of 8 mg / h for 3 days.

Long-term treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other pathological conditions of hypersecretion

The initial daily dose is 80 mg. If necessary, the dose can be titrated, increasing or decreasing, depending on the indicators of acid secretion in the stomach. If doses exceed 80 mg per day, they must be divided into two doses. A temporary increase in the dose of pantoprazole to 160 mg is possible, but the duration of use should be limited only to the period necessary to adequately control acid secretion.

Patients with severe hepatic impairment should not exceed a daily dose of 20 mg pantoprazole.

Patients with renal insufficiency should not exceed a daily dose of 40 mg.

Elderly patients should not exceed a daily dose of 40 mg.

A ready-to-use solution is obtained by diluting the powder in a vial with 10 ml solution for injection of sodium chloride 0.9%. The resulting solution can be administered immediately or infused after mixing with 100 ml of sodium chloride injection 0.9% or glucose injection 5%.

After preparation, the solution must be used within 12:00.

This preparation is intended for administration within 2-15 minutes.
