Product description

Parasidose is intended to combat head lice and nits in adults and children in everyday life. It can be used for anti-pediculosis treatment of children older than 3 months, pregnant women and persons with bronchial asthma, subject to the precautions listed on the label and in the instructions for use.

Lice are small (up to 3 - 4 mm) wingless blood-sucking insects - parasites that constantly live in the hair of a person's head, moving through the hair to the skin to feed on blood. When a louse bites, saliva entering the wound causes severe itching and burning. Females live up to 2 - 3 months and during life can lay up to 200 - 300 eggs (nits), which are firmly adhered to the hair with a substance that is difficult to destroy. In 5 - 9 days, larvae emerge from the nits, in 10 days they become adults and begin to lay nits.

Biological properties

Parasidose does not contain chemical insecticides. Its triple action is provided by a specially selected composition that acts mechanically on lice and nits. By blocking the airways, the agent causes insects to asphyxia, acting on the outer layer of the epicuticle - making them vulnerable to dehydration, dissolving the substance with which nits stick to the hair - and helping to remove them from the hair. The anti-pediculosis effect is enhanced by the presence of a surfactant in the product, which, when water is added to the hair, form a foam, as well as by mechanical combing of the hair from dead lice and nits provided by a comb with fine teeth. Excipients are used to soften the effect of the product on sensitive skin.

Toxicity and hazard of the product: the anti-lice product is safe, provided that consumers comply with the requirements for use and the measures indicated on the label and in the instructions. It contains non-toxic substances that mechanically act on lice without causing insects to resist the agent.

Mode of application

Using a comb

Using the comb provided to the product, carefully, strand by strand, preferably in daylight, check the dry hair of the head of each family member, previously combed with a regular comb, for lice. Especially carefully examine the back of the head and the areas above the forehead and behind the ears. To prevent infection, the comb must be thoroughly rinsed with warm soapy water after each use. To collect hair and insects when combing with a comb, place white paper, which then discard or burn.

Lice killing

If lice are found, apply the remedy after activating it. To do this, press down on the cap to puncture a hole in the applicator tip. Using the applicator attachment, apply a sufficient amount of the product to damp scalp as close to the hair roots as possible, and then apply along the entire length of the hair so that the hair and scalp are completely covered with the product. Massage well the scalp, especially in the neck and behind the ears and hair from roots to ends. Leave on for 45 minutes.

Removing nits

Thoroughly comb through wet hair from roots to ends to remove dead lice and nits. Thick and long hair is best divided into four zones, parting from the forehead to the back of the head and from one ear to the other. For long hair, each section can be braided. Comb each strand as close to the scalp as possible, separating any nits you find with a comb. Clean the comb from time to time with a cotton cloth or cotton wool.

Wash hair with shampoo and rinse thoroughly with water. Make sure everything is washed away.

Standards and guidelines

To reduce the risk of insufficient processing or re-infection, it is recommended to re-process after 3-5 days, similar to the first. To prevent the risk of re-infestation of lice, it is recommended to check for lice and treat, if necessary, all family members at the same time.

The consumption rate of the product is on average 25 ml per head of one person and depends on the degree of insect infestation, the length and thickness of the hair.

Precautions

Use anti-lice shampoo only as directed. Read the instructions carefully before use.

For external use only. If you suddenly develop a rash, irritation or hypersensitivity to one of the components of the product, immediately stop using the product and wash your hair with regular shampoo.

Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes (mouth, nose). Before processing the scalp, to prevent the product from getting on the mucous membranes of the eyes and nasopharynx, a cotton scarf, rolled up with a tourniquet, should be tied around the head (below the hair). In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water.

There are no contraindications for "Parasidose, anti-pediculosis drug" for pregnant women, but it is recommended to consult a doctor before using the drug.

To prevent infection, it is necessary to clean or wash clothes, linen, towels; rinse at t 60 in C other things that touched the head (brushes, combs). Vacuum the apartment thoroughly.

The active ingredient Biococidine® (a mixture of cocamidopropyl betaine - 10% and coconut acid - 15%), preservative, perfume, excipients, water - up to 100%.
