Indications:

Parin-Pos is used to protect the surface of the eyeball, care for the eyelids, cornea and conjunctiva to reduce irritation of red eyes, their burning and itching.

Properties:

Parin-Pos protects the surface of the eye by creating a stable but transparent film on the surface of the cornea and conjunctiva. Parin-Pos ointment can also be applied to the eyelids and the skin around the eyes. Only ointments that meet the special requirements for eye ointments may be used in these areas. Heparin contained in the Parin-Pos ointment has similar properties to the mucous layer of tears, which is responsible for the optimal adhesion of tears to the surface of the eyes, thanks to which it is possible to retain moisture, proper functioning and regeneration of the eye structures. Parin-Pos improves the quality of the tear film and protects the surface of the eyes, reducing the burning sensation, itching and eye irritation and reducing redness. Blinking is not a problem. The heparin contained in the ointment is a substance that occurs physiologically in the body, which is associated with good tolerance and easy mixing with tears.

The fat-rich consistency of the ointment causes a slight deterioration in visual performance. For this reason, use Parin-Pos first of all before going to bed. This will allow you to avoid any discomfort associated with opening your eyes in the morning.

Parin-Pos is a sensible complement to the therapy carried out with Hylo-Parin eye drops, also containing heparin, and intended for instillation during the day.

Composition:

Parin-Pos is a sterile eye ointment containing:

Sodium heparin at 1,300 IU per gram, obtained from porcine intestinal mucosa, thick paraffin, lanolin and white petrolatum.

Use:

The ointment is recommended to be used at bedtime, on the eyeball and into the conjunctival sac.

If necessary, the Parin-POS ointment can also be used during the day - however, you should take into account the temporary blurred vision caused by the ointment's greasy consistency.

The skin of the eyelids and the eye area can be lubricated as often as needed, taking care not to contaminate the tip of the dispenser.

Using Parin-Pos ointment with other ophthalmic preparations: use the ointment at least 30 minutes after using eye drops, while in the case of eye ointments, this interval should be at least one hour.
