Pharmacological properties
Guayazulene has anti-inflammatory, regenerating and antioxidant effects. due to an inhibitory effect on the release of histamine by mastocyte-like cells of the gastric mucosa, guaiazulene inhibits acid secretion and thus has an antacid effect.
Dimethicone is the most widely used therapeutic silicones. In gastroenterological practice, dimethicone is used to reduce foaming and gas formation, it has an adsorbing and enveloping effect.
Indications
Symptomatic treatment of functional disorders of the esophagus, stomach or duodenum, accompanied by pain.
Application
If pain occurs, adults take 1 capsule with water.
Do not use more than 4 capsules per day.
The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. intestinal obstruction; obstructive gastrointestinal diseases.
Side effects
Allergic reactions may occur, including itching, flushing, rash, urticaria; pain and bloating.

During treatment, stressful situations, smoking, alcohol consumption, very spicy foods and the use of certain medications (acetylsalicylic acid, anti-inflammatory preparations ) should be avoided, as this can cause an increase in gastric acidity.
The preparation contains sorbitol in the amount of 21 mg in 1 capsule, therefore it should not be used in patients with fructose intolerance (hereditary rare disease).
If you are intolerant to some sugars, you should consult your doctor before taking the preparation.
Use during pregnancy and lactation. The preparation can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
Children. There is insufficient data on the use of the preparation in children; therefore, the preparation is not used in pediatric practice.
The ability to influence the reaction rate when driving or operating other mechanisms. The preparation does not affect the reaction rate when driving or operating other mechanisms.
Interactions
Antacids containing aluminum hydroxide and magnesium carbonate adsorb silicones and may reduce the effectiveness of dimethicone.
Dimethicone can increase the absorption of warfarin and digoxin.
