What is PregnaPlus?

It is a dietary supplement for current and future mothers, rich in ingredients supporting the mother's health and the proper development of the child. Pregna Plus are tablets with folic acid, vitamin D3, iron, omega DHA acids and iodine, which are recommended by gynecologists and midwives as ingredients recommended for pregnant women.

Properties:

Pregna PLUS® is a dietary supplement for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers, developed in accordance with Evidence Based Medicine standards.

It contains ingredients recommended by the Polish Gynecological Society: folic acid, iron, iodine, vitamin D and DHA from the omega-3 family. Iron contained in Pregna Plus is in the form of iron (II) bisglycinate, which is recommended by the Polish Gynecological Society, it is characterized by high bioavailability and good gastrointestinal tolerance. Its absorption is not dependent on food factors.

Pregna Plus has been enriched with MetaPregnaFolic ™ (calcium L-methylfolate), an ingredient that is a biologically available form of folate, which makes it easier and faster to absorb.

The ingredients of the Pregna PLUS dietary supplement perform many important functions in the body that physiologically influence the proper course of pregnancy. Supplemental folate intake increases maternal folate levels. Low maternal folate levels are a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the developing fetus. There are many risk factors for developing neural tube defects, and changing one of them may or may not be beneficial. Iron is involved in the process of cell division and helps in the production of red blood cells. In addition, iron and folic acid have a beneficial effect on the functioning of the immune system of the future mother. Vitamin D helps in the proper use of calcium and phosphorus by the female body.

According to the position of the Polish Group of Experts on the supplementation of DHA and other omega-3 fatty acids in the pregnant and breastfeeding population, it is recommended to supplement DHA in order to ensure the correct resources of this ingredient in the mother's body and ensure its proper distribution to the fetus.

The source of DHA in the product is highly purified oily sea fish oil obtained with the PureMaxTM technology.
