Product description

Proctinum suppositories is a medical device intended for topical application in the rectum. After the suppository is inserted through the rectum, under the influence of body temperature it melts and dissolves. The released hyaluronic acid forms a gel coating on the surface of the mucosa. A protective film made of hyaluronic acid restores natural moisture, soothes inflammation, facilitates and accelerates the healing processes of the damaged mucosa of the anal canal and rectum.

Application

The product is intended for rectal use in order to moisturize and protect the mucosa in conditions requiring the stimulation of the natural regeneration and healing processes of the rectal mucosa and the anal canal.

Usage method

Suppositories are for rectal use only.

Hands should be thoroughly washed before applying the suppository.

Use the suppositories continuously for 5-10 consecutive days, unless your doctor tells you otherwise, apply one suppository at bedtime.

If necessary, the application can be extended to 20 days.

Ingredients

Hyaluronic acid in the form of a sodium salt and neutral fat as an excipient.

1 globule contains:

10 mg of hyaluronic acid in the form of sodium salt.

Contraindications

Do not use in people who are allergic to any of the ingredients of the preparation

Important tips

Store the product at a temperature of up to 25 degrees Celsius in the original packaging.

Do not use if any part of the packaging is damaged.

Do not use after the expiry date.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Warnings

• Suppositories are intended for rectal administration.

• Do not swallow.

• Do not use in people who are allergic to any of the ingredients of the preparation.

• Do not exceed recommended administration time.

• If the lesions worsened or additional symptoms appeared after using the product

conditions, discontinue use and consult a physician.

• If after using the product there is relief from discomfort then come back

abnormalities, do not restart and seek medical attention.

• Do not use the product with other rectally administered preparations.

• Do not use the medical device after the expiry date.

• Do not use if the immediate packaging is damaged.
