Indications

Treatment of external and internal hemorrhoids, in chronic and acute inflammation of the anus, anal fissure and anal itching. It can be used in the pre- and postoperative period.

Composition

1 g of ointment contains: active substances: 5 mg of hydrocortisone in the form of acetate, 5 mg of cinchocaine hydrochloride, 10 mg of neomycin sulfate, 10 mg of esculin in the form of sesquihydrate and auxiliary substances: anhydrous lanolin, liquid paraffin, white petroleum jelly.

Action

Hydrocortisone is anti-inflammatory, cinchocaine is a local anesthetic. Neomycin - an antibiotic that prevents secondary infections and treats local infections caused by staphylococci and sensitive Gram-negative bacteria. Aesculin stops vascular bleeding and reduces swelling. The preparation reduces the symptoms of haemorrhoids such as inflammation, pain, swelling and bleeding.

Dosage

Using the applicator, apply a small amount of ointment into the anus and outside, morning and evening, and after each bowel movement.

Contraindications

Allergy to preparation components, diabetes, tuberculosis, glaucoma, osteoporosis, acute psychosis, fungal and viral infections or venous thrombosis, children under 12 years of age.
