Indications

Short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (such as heartburn, acid regurgitation) in adults.

Composition

1 gastro-resistant tablet contains 20 mg of pantoprazole.

Action

This medicine reduces the amount of acid in your stomach.

Dosage

The recommended dose is 20 mg pantoprazole (1 tablet) a day. You may need to take the tablets for another 2 to 3 days to get relief from symptoms. Treatment should be discontinued when symptoms have completely disappeared. Treatment should not exceed 4 weeks without consulting a doctor. The gastro-resistant tablets containing 20 mg pantoprazole should not be chewed or crushed, and should be taken before a meal, swallowed whole with liquid.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
