Recommendations for use

Respix® Sinus is a complex blend of natural phytoextracts of plants: mullein, verbena, elderberry, pelargonium and ginger for the preparation of a hot, warming drink.

The components of Respix® Sinus are known by traditional means and are recommended for use in case of manifestations of diseases of the upper respiratory tract (throat, paranasal sinuses and nasal cavity).

Active ingredients

Pelargonium root dry extract: relief of symptoms of acute sinusitis. In addition, a number of studies have demonstrated antiviral (including against influenza virus H1N1, H3N2, parainfluenza) and moderate antibacterial properties of pelargonium extract in the spectrum of bacteria.

Common mullein (bear's ear) (Verbascum thapsus L.): medicinal mullein is a plant that has long been used in folk medicine as an enveloping, analgesic and expectorant agent. The essential oil of common mullein has shown analgesic, antibacterial (including against Staphylococcus aureus) activity. Common mullein is used for inflammation of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract, cough, whooping cough, bronchitis, bronchial asthma, emphysema and pneumonia.

Dry extract of herb verbena officinalis: anti-inflammatory activity and antimicrobial action of vervain officinalis have been revealed. The results of antimicrobial studies indicate that the extract inhibits the growth of rod-shaped and coccoid microflora, which are often causative agents of hospital infections and pathogens of secondary infection. Staphylococcus strains are the most sensitive to the action of the extracts.

Dry extract of ginger has antimicrobial, antifungal, antitoxic, sedative, anti-inflammatory properties, improves blood circulation. It contains zingiberen (zingiberen), which gives a burning taste to the root, sugar and fat. At the root there are essential amino acids: threonine, tryptophan, lysine, phenylalanine, methionine and valine. Among the micro- and macroelements there are K, Ca, Fe, Mg, F, K, Na, Zn, Cu, Mn. Ginger root is a source of water-soluble vitamins such as C, B2, it also contains vitamins A, E.

The extract of black elderberry flowers is used as an anti-inflammatory agent for diseases of the upper respiratory tract: colds and flu. An infusion of black elderberry flowers is also used for colds, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, whooping cough, bronchiectasis, bronchial asthma, influenza, sore throat, rheumatism, pharyngitis.

Composition

1 sachet weighing 4.5 g (g) contains:

Sugar, orange flavor, citric acid (E 330), Mullein flower extract 50 mg (mg) (1.12%), Verbena officinalis herb dry extract 50 mg (mg) (1.12%), Black elderberry flower extract 50 mg (mg) (1.12%), Ginger dry extract 50 mg (mg) (1.12%), Pelargonium dry extract 50 mg (mg) (1.12%), L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 40 mg (mg) (0.89%) * Black pepper extract, Menthol.

Mode of application

Dissolve the contents of the sachet in 150 ml of hot water and stir until completely dissolved. The resulting solution should be drunk immediately after preparation.

The recommended consumption for adults is 1 sachet 2-3 times a day.
