Indications

Symptomatic therapy for seasonal and persistent allergic rhinitis (symptoms such as rhinorrhea, itchy nose, sneezing) and non-nasal symptoms associated with conjunctivitis itching and urticaria of various types, including chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Compound

active substance: cetirizine 1 tablet contains cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg

excipients: lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium starch (type A).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to cetirizine or other components of the drug, as well as to hydroxyzine and any piperazine derivatives

rare hereditary forms of galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or impaired glucose-galactose malabsorption.

Children

Contraindicated in children under 6 years of age.

Method of administration and dosage

Administered orally, regardless of food intake, with a sufficient amount of liquid.

Adults and children over 6 years old: daily dose - 10 mg (1 tablet) once, preferably at night.

An initial dose of 5 mg (1/2 tablet) can be used if sufficient to control symptoms.

Special patient groups

Elderly patients dose adjustment is not required (subject to normal renal function).

Patients with impaired renal function (moderate to severe): the dosage should be individualized, depending on the state of renal function
