Inaugurated in 1994, Sofarimex is a company that manufactures pharmaceutical products, with 60% of its equity belonging to the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Group, Laboratórios Azevedos and 40% belonging to the French company, Sanofi-Synthelabo. The Company is a specialist in the production of small and medium series of most pharmaceutical formes. Sofarimex production procedures are fully compliant with GMP and with NP EN ISO 9001. It is our concern to preserve nature and their resources.Therefore, we are commited to achieve NP EN ISO 14001 Environmental Certification until the end of 2004. Since 2001, we have produced medicines for 30 countries throughout the world with quality, strictness and professional excellence.
