Indications

Symptomatic treatment of non-productive (dry) cough.

Composition

10 ml of syrup contains 60 ml of levodropropizin. Other ingredients: sucrose, citric acid monohydrate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, cherry flavor (ethyl acetate, isoamyl acetate, benzaldehyde, benzaldehyde, eugenol, vanillin, ethanol, propylene glycol), sodium hydroxide, 32% solution, purified water.

Action

Effectively inhibits cough of various origins, such as cough in the course of lung cancer, cough associated with infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract or whooping cough.

Dosage

Children over 2 years of age: 10-20 kg: 3 ml of syrup 3 times a day, 21-30 kg: 5 ml of syrup 3 times a day. Adults: 10 ml of syrup 3 times a day. Solvetusan should be taken orally 3 times a day at intervals of at least 6 hours. The syrup bottle comes with a measuring cup that allows you to measure the dose of the preparation, e.g. 3, 5 and 10ml.

Contraindications

Allergy to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of the preparation. In people with abundant bronchial secretions and impaired cilia function of the bronchial epithelium (Kartagener syndrome, ciliary dyskinesia), pregnant and breastfeeding women. Particular caution should be exercised when using the preparation in the elderly (over 65 years of age). Caution is advised when using the preparation in patients with severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance <35 ml / min). Do not use in children under 2 years of age. Caution should be exercised in patients who intend to drive vehicles or operate machinery.
