Indications:

The indication for the use of Stoperan is symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea. Symptomatic treatment of chronic diarrhea in inflammatory bowel diseases and functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and irritable bowel syndrome. Stoperan can be used simultaneously with causal preparations.

Properties:

Stoperan calms the increased intestinal peristalsis and increases the absorption of water in the intestines, thanks to which it enables faster return to normal life activity.

Stopoperan can be used at the first severe symptoms of diarrhea, and this allows you to avoid troublesome complications, which are especially easy for children and the elderly. Accelerated intestinal transit slows down, which in turn reduces the frequency and number of bowel movements, thus reducing the risk of dehydration and loss of electrolytes occurring in the course of diarrhea.

Directions for use:

The maximum daily dose for adults is 8 capsules (16 mg) for acute diarrhea, and 6 capsules (12 mg) for chronic diarrhea.

Composition

1 capsule contains:

active ingredient: loperamide hydrochloride 2 mg,
excipients: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, talc, magnesium stearate, gelatin capsule composition: gelatin, erythrosine (E 127), patent blue (E 131), titanium dioxide (E 171), quinoline yellow (E 104).
