Product description

Stoptussin Fito-Teva syrup is intended to relieve expectoration when coughing caused by acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract.

Structure

Active ingredients: liquid extract of thyme (Thymi herba extractum fluidum), liquid extract of creeping thyme (Serpylli extractum fluidum), liquid extract of plantain (Plantaginis extractum fluidum).

100 ml of syrup contains: liquid extract of thyme (Thymi herba extractum fluidum) (1: 1.16) 4.166 g, liquid extract of creeping thyme (Serpylli extractum fluidum) (1: 1.12) 4.166 g, liquid extract of plantain (Plantaginis extractum fluidum) (1: 1.1) 4.1666 g

Excipients: honey, sodium benzoate (E 211), propylparaben (E 216), sucrose, purified water.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Thyme preparations are contraindicated in severe liver and kidney disease. Pregnancy, breastfeeding.

Mode of application

Children aged 1 to 5 years are prescribed 2.5-5 ml of the preparation

children aged 5 to 10 years - 5-10 ml

children aged 10 to 15 years - 10-15 ml 3 times a day after meals (due to the possibility of a decrease in appetite).

adults and children over 15 years old - 15 ml several times a day (usually 3 times a day)

Application features

Use during pregnancy or lactation

Thyme preparations are contraindicated during pregnancy or lactation.

The ability to influence the reaction rate when driving or operating other mechanisms

Stopusin Fito does not affect or slightly affects activities that require increased attention and rapid motor and mental reactions.

Children

The preparation is used in children over 1 year old in accordance with the indications (doses and method of administration are given in the section "Method of administration").

Overdose

Overdose cases were not observed. An overdose of thyme preparations can cause nausea.

Side effects

In very rare cases, there has been a hypersensitivity reaction (for example, choking (shortness of breath), skin rash, hives, swelling of the face, swelling of the oral mucosa and throat (Quincke's edema) or indigestion (cramps, nausea, vomiting).

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C in its original packaging, out of the reach of children.

Shelf life is 4 years.
