Properties:

Strepsils Intensive Direct is the strongest sore throat spray. Thanks to the unique active substance flurbiprofen, it has a double effect - it fights inflammation and brings relief from sore throats for up to 6 hours.

Strepsils Intensive not only relieves pain quickly, but also eliminates its source - inflammation caused by viral or bacterial infections.

Directions for use:

Adults aged 18 and over - one dose (3 sprays) to the back of the throat every 3-6 hours, as needed. Do not take more than 5 doses in a 24-hour period. Do not inhale when spraying the aerosol. The medicinal product should not be used for a period longer than 3 days.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to flurbiprofen or to any of the excipients; History of hypersensitivity (e.g., asthma, bronchospasm, rhinitis, angioedema or urticaria), hypersensitivity to ASA or other NSAIDs; active or recurrent peptic ulcer / haemorrhage and intestinal ulceration; History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, severe inflammation of the colon, haemorrhagic or blood formation disorders, related to previous NSAID therapy; 3rd trimester of pregnancy; severe heart, liver or kidney failure; children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Composition:

One dose (3 sprays) contains 8.75 mg flurbiprofen, corresponding to 16.2 mg / ml flurbiprofen. Flurbiprofen has a strong analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect due to the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. The analgesic effect of flurbiprofen was confirmed in experimental models of pain caused by various stimuli (chemical, mechanical and thermal).
