Sudafed XyloSpray HA

Is a vasoconstrictor, which reduces the swelling of the nasal mucosa. It contains hyaluronic acid and moisturizes the nasal mucosa.

Dosage

For adults and children over 6 years of age, one dose is used in each nostril 3 times a day.
The preparation should not be used for more than 5 days.

Composition

1 ml of solution contains:
1 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride and excipients: sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium phosphate dihydrate, glycerol, sodium chloride, sorbitol, sodium hyaluronate, purified water.

Action

Xylometazoline is a vasoconstrictor, which reduces the swelling of the nasal mucosa. The onset of action is usually within 5-10 minutes after administration. Reducing the swelling of the mucosa facilitates nasal breathing and facilitates the drainage of secretions. Sudafed XyloSpray HA contains the excipient sodium hyaluronic acid which protects and moisturizes the nasal mucosa.

For the reduction of swelling of the nasal mucosa in acute mucositis, vasomotor mucositis and allergic rhinitis.
Facilitating the outflow of secretions in inflammation of the paranasal sinuses and in inflammation of the Eustachian tube with a common cold.

Contraindications

Do not use Sudafed XyloSpray HA:
- if you are allergic to xylometazoline hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of the medicine
- if you suffer from dry atrophic rhinitis
- in patients after pituitary removal and other surgical procedures involving exposing the dura mater

Warnings and Precautions
It does not contain preservatives.
The shelf life after first opening the bottle is 12 months.
Do not use the preparation after the expiry date.
Keep the preparation out of the reach and sight of children.
Store below 25 ° C.

Use of other medications

Inform your doctor about all medications you are taking, including those over the counter.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

It should not be used in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
