The production site of SWISSCAPS Romania SRL, at Cornu/PH is active in the business segments of the food and pharmaceutical industry and its core products are soft gel capsules in bulk and also finished packed in blister and bottles. Our customers are worldwide from USA to Australia and from Finland to South Africa. The capsules ingredients are for food supplements, OTC and pharmaceuticals in oilers or suspensions with the shell material of bovine, fish or pig gelatine and the vegetarian/vegan VegaGels® material.

The company was founded in 2003, when the first production line for big volume products was built. The plant expanded constantly so that it presently has a capacity of 10bn capsules and 24mio blisters. The Quality Control Laboratory has all required high-tech analytical instruments to perform the tests of raw materials and products acc. GMP regulations.

The key technologies used by Swisscaps are: the production of soft gelatine capsules and VegaGels® (VegaGels® to be implemented in the 3rd quarter 2020), analytical services including stability testing, blister packaging. The bottle packaging is planned to be implemented by the end of 2020.

SWISSCAPS Romania SRL is part of the Aenova Group since 2008 and currently employs 320 people and expands constantly further.
