Indications

As an adjunct in acute and chronic diseases of the lungs and bronchi with a disturbance in mucus secretion and impediment to its transport, e.g. acute or chronic bronchitis or pneumonia, bronchial asthma, emphysema, cystic fibrosis.

Composition

1 tablet contains: active substance: ambroxol hydrochloride 30 mg and excipients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, magnesium stearate.

Action

Mucolytic, secretolytic. The preparation increases the amount of mucus in the respiratory tract, reduces its viscosity and improves the cilia of the respiratory epithelium. As a result, it improves the transport of mucus in the respiratory tract, which facilitates expectoration and soothes coughing.

Dosage

Orally. The preparation should be taken after meals with a sufficient amount of water. Do not use immediately before going to bed. Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 tablet 3 times a day for the first 2-3 days, then 1 tablet 2 times a day. Children aged 6 to 12: it is recommended to use 1/2 tablet 2-3 times a day.

Contraindications

Allergy (hypersensitivity) to ambroxol hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of the preparation. Do not use in children under 6 years of age. Particular caution should be exercised in people with renal and / or hepatic impairment.
