It is applied topically externally as an anesthetic and anti-inflammatory preparation for post-traumatic pain in muscles and joints, inflammation of the tendons.

For external use. 2-3 times a day a small amount of gel (3-5 cm) is applied to the skin in a painful area and rub in easily. the duration of treatment is determined by the doctor.

There is no need to apply a dry bandage, as the gel absorbs well through the skin, is odorless, does not contain dyes, does not leave greasy spots, and does not stain clothes.

Hypersensitivity to ketoprofen and / or other components of the preparation; hypersensitivity to other NSAIDs; weeping dermatoses, eczema, infected abrasions, wounds, burns, infectious skin lesions.

Do not use in the third trimester of pregnancy.

Do not use in children under 15 years of age.

Adverse reactions after using ketoprofen are rare. these are allergic skin reactions, skin flushing, photosensitivity, skin exanthema, purpura. very rarely, hypersensitivity to light and side effects are possible with a more severe course of the disease - papular eczema with the likelihood of relapse.

Ketoprofen can cause bronchospasm in patients who are sensitive to acetylsalicylic acid and other NSAIDs.

Depending on the amount of gel applied to the skin, the area of ​​the treated area, the duration of treatment, the application of the dressing, other side effects, for example, from the gastrointestinal tract or kidneys, may be noted.

Do not allow the preparation to come into contact with the mucous membrane and eyes.

Do not apply to damaged skin areas.

During long-term use in patients with severe liver and / or kidney failure, caution must be exercised. In the event of a skin rash, treatment should be discontinued and appropriate therapy should be carried out. During treatment and for 2 weeks after its completion, you should not be in the sun, as well as visit the solarium.

In case of changes in the skin at the site of application, treatment should be discontinued.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding. In the I and II trimester of pregnancy, the preparation can be used only when the potential benefit to the mother outweighs the risk of negative effects on the fetus. In the third trimester of pregnancy, the use of the preparation is contraindicated.

It is not recommended to use the preparation during breastfeeding.

The effect of the preparation on the ability to drive vehicles and perform work requiring concentration. No data on the effect.

With prolonged use, symptoms of interaction with other preparations may appear, the same as with systemic use.

Concomitant use with oral anticoagulants, heparin, thrombolytics, antiplatelet agents, cefoperazone, cefamandol increases the risk of bleeding. Ketoprofen reduces the effect of antihypertensive preparations and diuretics. Enhances the effect of insulin and oral hypoglycemic preparations (dose adjustment is necessary). Concomitant use with sodium valproate causes impaired platelet aggregation. Increases the concentration of verapamil and nifedipine in blood plasma. Ketoprofen enhances the effect of methotrexate. Cannot be used in combination with acetylsalicylic acid and its derivatives. Ketoprofen increases the effects of alcohol and the side effects of other NSAIDs.

There are no data on preparation overdose with external use.
