Prevention: 1 capsule daily, in the morning on an empty stomach for 3 months.

Treatment for acute conditions: 1 capsule daily, in the morning on an empty stomach as an additional treatment during antimicrobial therapy until symptoms disappear, but for at least 10 days.

If it is difficult for the child to swallow the capsule, it should be opened and the contents mixed with a liquid (fruit juice, water).

Increased sensitivity to the components of the preparation.

The following adverse reactions are classified by organ system and frequency of occurrence, according to the data of clinical studies and/or use in the post-registration period.

Often: 1/10 - ≥1/100; infrequently: 1/100 - ≥1/1000; rarely: 1/1000 - ≥1/10,000; very rare: 1/10,000, including isolated cases.

From the side of the immune system. Infrequent: hypersensitivity reactions. Very rarely: swelling of the oral cavity.

From the side of the nervous system. Often: headache.

From the side of the digestive system. Often: nausea, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, dyspepsia. Uncommon: abdominal pain.

From the side of the skin and subcutaneous tissue. Uncommon: rash, itching. Very rare: alopecia.

General disorders and changes in the injection site. Uncommon: fever. Very rare: peripheral edema.

Hypersensitivity reactions, such as skin reactions, increased body temperature, or edema, may occur when using the preparation of Uro-Vax. in the event of such reactions, the use of the preparation should be stopped, as it may be a manifestation of allergic reactions.

Immunosuppressants can weaken or completely suppress the effect of the preparation of Uro-Vaxom.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Pregnancy. The amount of data on the use of the preparation of Uro-Vaxom in pregnant women is small. One pilot study was conducted with the participation of a small group (n = 62) of pregnant women with acute urinary tract infections, starting from the II trimester of pregnancy and before delivery. Studies on the use of preparation in pregnant women in the first trimester of pregnancy have not been conducted. When using the preparation of Uro-Vaxom during pregnancy, especially in the first trimester, the benefit of using the preparation for the pregnant woman and the potential risk for the fetus should be evaluated.

Breastfeeding. There are no data on the use of the preparation during breastfeeding. When using the preparation of Uro-Vaxom during breastfeeding, the benefit of using the preparation for the mother and the potential risk for the child should be evaluated.

Children. The preparation is prescribed for children aged 4 years and older.

The ability to influence the speed of reaction when driving a motor vehicle or working with other mechanisms. There are no studies. It is unlikely that the preparation affects the speed of reaction when driving a motor vehicle or other mechanisms.

There is still no data on the interaction of Uro-Vax with other medicinal products.
