Dosage of Vigantol 10ml drops:
Premature babies: 2 drops daily of Vigantol solution (1000 IU of vitamin D3). After 40 weeks of age of the corrected age, the prophylaxis dose should be reduced. The dosage must be established by the attending physician.Newborns and infants (up to 12 months): 1 drop of Vigantol solution daily (equivalent to 500 IU of vitamin D3).
Adults, adolescents (12 years of age and older) and the elderly: 1 drop of Vigantol solution daily (equivalent to 500 IU of vitamin D3).
Adjunctive treatment in osteoporosis in adults: 2 drops a day of Vigantol solution (equivalent to 1000 IU of vitamin D3).
How to administer Vigantol? It can be administered mixed with food, directly into the mouth or with a spoon.
The composition of Vigantol drops:
1 ml (40 drops) contains 500 µg of cholecalciferol (which corresponds to 20,000 IU of vitamin D3).One drop contains 12.5 µg of cholecalciferol (equivalent to 500 IU of vitamin D3).
Auxiliary substances; triglycerides of medium chain saturated fatty acids.
