Suppositories Vitaprost are shown:

• With chronic prostatitis;
• For the prevention and treatment of complications after prostate surgery.

Composition

Active substance:

1 suppository contains not less than 0.0024 g of bovine prostate gland extract, lyophilized from an aqueous solution, obtained by extraction, in terms of peptides;

Excipients: glycine, polysorbate 80, pumpkin seed oil, solid fat.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation, in particular to cattle proteins.

Mode of application

The suppository is released from the packaging and inserted deep into the anus.

1 suppository 1-2 times a day (morning and evening) for <> 5-10 days.

The duration of the course is determined by the nature and severity of the disease, the achieved therapeutic effect, the nature of the therapy (monotherapy or complex treatment). If necessary, the course can be repeated after 1-6 months.

Overdose

No cases of overdose of bovine prostate extract suppositories have been reported.

Side effects

Allergic reactions: itching, flushing of the skin, skin rashes;

Changes at the injection site: burning sensation.

Preparation interaction with Vitaprost has not been studied.
