Zafakol IQ is a dietary supplement for normalizing the condition and regulating the functioning of the intestines.

Active components

BUTYRIC ACID belongs to fatty acids with a short chain, which is formed in the large intestine in the process of fermentation and fiber by microbiota and performs the following functions:

• improves the protective barrier of the intestinal mucosa and prevents the penetration of pathogenic microorganisms and toxins from the intestinal lumen into the bloodstream, which can reduce the risk of developing some autoimmune, allergic, inflammatory, neurological and metabolic conditions;
• stimulates the synthesis of mucin (a special protective layer of the intestinal wall);
• improves the condition and functioning of the normal intestinal microbiota by stimulating the production of antimicrobial substances and regulating the pH of the intestinal contents;
• provides body cells with energy (including epithelial cells of the intestinal mucosa and brain cells), restores their membranes;
• strengthens connections between cells of the mucous membrane by increasing the expression of tight junction proteins (claudin, occludin, zonulin);
• regulates the normal development of cells of the intestinal mucosa;
• regulates the balance of the inflammatory reaction;
• has an antioxidant effect;

INULIN is a fructooligosaccharide (complex carbohydrate of vegetable origin) that belongs to the group of prebiotics and is fermented under the influence of normal intestinal microbiota to form endogenous butyric acid. It has the following properties:

• contributes to the restoration of normal intestinal microbiota and inhibition of pathogenic microorganisms;
  
• regulates intestinal motility;
• promotes absorption of vitamins and trace elements (calcium, magnesium and others);
• improves carbohydrate and fat metabolism in the body (reduction of glucose, triglycerides and cholesterol);

LACTOBACILLUS and BIFIDOBACTERIUM are components of normal intestinal microbiota and contribute to:

Application method

Children from 12 years old 1 tablet per day, adults 1-2 tablets per day.

Use internally, after meals, without chewing, with drinking water. The tablet cannot be broken.

The recommended duration of use is 30 days. Further consumption is determined by the doctor individually.
