Indications

Supplementing zinc deficiency in the body.

Composition

The active substance is hydrogen aspartate dihydrate. Other ingredients: potato starch, sucrose, talc, magnesium stearate, dextrin, sodium carboxymethyl starch (type C), microcrystalline cellulose.

Action

Zinc is a micronutrient. It regulates the production of growth hormone and sex hormones (necessary for the production of sperm and eggs). It makes the body less susceptible to infections and allergies. It affects the proper secretion of insulin by the pancreas.

Dosage

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 tablet a day, taken after a meal with water.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to zinc hydrogen aspartate dihydrate or any of the other ingredients in this medicine, kidney failure, antibiotic therapy or other medications. Do not use in children under 12 years of age, do not take the drug simultaneously with dairy products, do not use the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use the drug simultaneously with the following drugs: tetracycline antibiotics (for example, doxycycline), as zinc reduces their absorption; containing acetylsalicylic acid; painkillers called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (ibuprofen, indomethacin); drugs that increase urine production (hydrochlorothiazamide); corticosteroids - called steroids (hydrocortisone); medicines and dietary supplements containing calcium, iron and copper - because they reduce the absorption of zinc; chelating substances (penicillamine); drug used to treat (lead or copper poisoning). If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
