Indications
Acute and chronic diseases of the respiratory tract with disorders of expectoration and mucus removal.
Composition
1 tablet contains the active substance: 8 mg bromhexine hydrochloride and auxiliary substances: lactose monohydrate, sodium carboxymethyl starch, magnesium stearate.
Action
It cleanses the bronchi, facilitates breathing.
Dosage
Orally:
- children from 3 to 6 years of age: 1/2 tablet 2 times a day;
- children from 6 to 12 years of age: 1/2 tablet 3 times a day;
- adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 tablet 3 times a day.
The preparation should be taken after meals. Usually the preparation is used for 7-10 days.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity (allergy) to bromhexine or any other substance in the preparation; intolerance to certain sugars. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before using the preparation. Use with caution in patients with gastric and duodenal ulcers, in cases of severe liver or kidney dysfunction. Caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery, due to the possibility of drowsiness or pain and dizziness.
