product for use in infants and children in the following in cases: fever of various origins (also in the course of viral infections, in the course of a vaccine reaction) pain of various origins of mild to moderate intensity: headache, throat and muscle pain, e.g. in the course of viral infections pain in muscles, joints and bones as a result of locomotor injuries (strains, sprains); pain due to soft tissue injuries, postoperative pain; toothache, pain after dental procedures, pain due to teething; earaches associated with inflammation of the middle ear.

the active substance in this medicine is ibuprofen, which belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These medicines work by changing how the body responds to pain, inflammation and high body temperature.

 the recommended daily dose of Ibuprom for Children is 20 to 30 mg per kilogram of body weight, administered in divided doses according to the following scheme: infants from 3 to 6 months (5-7.6 kg): 2.5 ml 3 times per day (which corresponds to 150mg ibuprofen daily). Infants from 6 to 12 months (7.7–9 kg): 3 to 4 times 2.5 ml per day (corresponding to 150-200 mg of ibuprofen per day). Children from 1 to 3 years (10-15 kg): 3 times 5 ml per day (equivalent to 300 mg of ibuprofen per day). Children from 4 to 6 years (16-20 kg): 3 times 7.5 ml per day (corresponding to 450 mg of ibuprofen per day). Children from 7 to 9 years (21-29 kg): 3 times 10 ml per day (which corresponds to 600 mg of ibuprofen per day). Children from 10 to 12 years (30-40 kg): 3 times 15 ml per day (which corresponds to 900 mg of ibuprofen per day). There should be a break between doses of 6 to 8 hours.

the active substance of the drug is ibuprofen 100mg / 5ml. The other ingredients are: sodium benzoate (E 211), citric acid anhydrous, sodium citrate, sodium saccharin, sodium chloride, 15 cP hypromellose, xanthan gum, liquid maltitol, glycerol, strawberry flavor (contains substances identical to natural flavors, natural flavors, maltodextrin , triethyl citrate, propylene glycol and benzyl alcohol), purified water.

allergy to any component of the drug; peptic ulcer of the stomach and / or duodenum, active or past, perforation or bleeding, also with those occurring after the use of NSAIDs; severe liver failure, severe renal failure or severe heart failure, taking other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs at the same time, including COX-2 inhibitors (increased risk of side effects); 3rd trimester of pregnancy; hemorrhagic diathesis; lupus erythematosus or mixed connective tissue disease; digestive diseases and chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease); arterial hypertension and / or cardiac dysfunction; active or past bronchial asthma or symptoms of allergic reactions in the past; after taking the drug, bronchospasm, congenital fructose intolerance (due to the possibility of conversion of maltitol, one of the excipients, into fructose) may occur.
