InVag vaginal hard capsules. Each capsule contains not less than 109 CFU of lactic acid bacteria. The preparation is used in women to restore or replenish the bacterial flora and maintain the correct pH of the vagina.

Invag - composition:

The active substance is live lactobacilli:
25% Lactobacillus fermentum 57A,
25% Lactobacillus plantarum 57B,
50% Lactobacillus gasseri 57C,
in an amount of not less than 109 CFU (colony forming unit) per capsule.

In addition, the medicine contains: skimmed milk powder, sucrose, sodium L-glutamate, mannitol, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and capsule ingredients: gelatin and titanium dioxide.

The drug is used in women to restore or supplement the vaginal flora and maintain it

proper vaginal pH. InVag works by maintaining the microbiological balance in

genitourinary system and preventing the development of infections.

It has been proven in a clinical trial that inVag is safe and the bacteria it contains

colonize the vaginal epithelium.

Probiotic products containing live Lactobacillus bacteria are recommended to be used in the case of

disorders of the vaginal flora, which occur, for example, during the use of antibiotics,

hormonal changes, stress or inadequate sexual and hygienic habits.

Intended use

- during and after treatment with antibiotics and other antibacterial drugs, and

anti-thrombotic and anti-fungal,

- during the climacteric period and after the puerperium,

- prophylactically in all situations where the balance of the vaginal flora is disturbed

(e.g. improper hygiene habits, contraception),

- as an adjunct in the treatment of inflammation of the vagina (vaginal infections), during and after treatment

antibiotics, other antibacterial and / or antifungal medicines (including

when treating vaginal discharge).

2. What you need to know before you use inVag

Do not use inVag

- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to lactic acid bacteria: Lactobacillus

fermentum 57A, Lactobacillus plantarum 57B, Lactobacillus gasseri 57C or any of the

other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

Warnings and Precautions

- take special care with inVag if you have severe problems

disturbance of the immune system. In this case, it is necessary to use inVag before using inVag

Other medicines and inVag

InVag can be used during treatment with norfloxacin, nalidixic acid or

metronidazole, since the resistance of the inVag strains to these substances has been confirmed.

The effect of inVag may be less effective when used together with

sulfamethoxazole and / or nonoxynol-9 spermicides.

InVag may be ineffective with drugs such as penicillin, ampicillin,

gentamicin, clindamycin, chloramphenicol and tetracycline as inVag strains

are sensitive to these substances.

Vitamin B - complex administered orally and vaginally administered estrogens have a positive effect on

multiplication of Lactobacillus and vaginal colonization.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medicines you are taking

4. Possible side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

5. How to store inVag

Store in a refrigerator (2 ° C to 8 ° C).
