Indications

Pains of various etiology: headaches (including migraine), muscles, teeth, neuralgia, menstrual, osteoarticular, postoperative and traumatic pain. The drug relieves symptoms of colds and flu, such as: fever, sore throat, pain in muscles and joint and bone pain.

Composition

Active substance: ketoprofen (Ketoprofenum), excipients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, capsule ingredients: gelatin, titanium dioxide (E 171), patent blue (E 131)

One capsule contains 50 mg of ketoprofen.

Action

Analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory.

Dosage

Adults and children over 15 years of age: one capsule three times a day (morning, noon, evening). Rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis: one capsule every 6 hours.

Pain management: one capsule every 6-8 hours. The maximum daily dose of ketoprofen should not exceed 200 mg (four capsules). Due to the increased risk of side effects, it is recommended that the lowest effective dose be used in the elderly.

Contraindications

Allergy to ketoprofen or any of the ingredients of the drug. If you have experienced shortness of breath, an attack of bronchial asthma, swelling of the nasal mucosa or a skin reaction or any other type of allergic reaction to ketoprofen or similar drugs. If you have severe heart failure, severe kidney failure, severe liver failure, bleeding tendency, active gastric and / or duodenal ulcer, or have ever had gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration or perforation of the gastrointestinal tract. If the patient is in the third trimester of pregnancy. The drug cannot be used in children under 15 years of age.
