Indications

Acute and chronic allergic conjunctivitis, vernal keratoconjunctivitis, giant papillary conjunctivitis.

Application

Adults and children over the age of 4 years are prescribed 1-2 drops of lecrolin in each eye 4 times a day. the pipette contains a single dose of the preparation for instillation in both eyes.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to preparation components.

Side effects

The preparation is usually well tolerated, but in some cases, after instillation, hyperemia or a passing burning sensation is possible. benzalkonium chloride may cause allergic reactions.

Special instructions

Children over the age of 4 are given a prescription. lecroline eye drops contain benzalkonium chloride as a preservative, which can be deposited on soft contact lenses. contact lenses before instilling the preparation should be removed and reinserted after 15 minutes.

During pregnancy, it is prescribed only according to strict indications. During lactation, the effect on the child is unlikely due to the low systemic bioavailability of the preparation.
