Indications

Acute rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, inflammation of the Eustachian tube, in otitis media; in diagnostics to reduce swelling of the mucosa; can be used in children from 1 to 6 years of age.

Composition

1 ml of solution contains: active substance: 0.25 mg of oxymetazoline hydrochloride (1 dose of 45 microliter spray contains 11.25 micrograms of oxymetazoline hydrochloride) and excipients: citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate, glycerol 85%, purified water.

Action

It reduces swelling of the inflamed mucosa and inhibits excessive secretion, which allows you to breathe freely through the nose; contraction of the nasal mucosa leads to the opening and expansion of the drainage ducts of the paranasal sinuses and the cleaning of the Eustachian tube. This helps to remove secretions and heal any bacterial infection.

Dosage

Nasally; 1 spray in each nostril 2-3 times a day. Single doses of the preparation should not be used more than 3 times a day. You can only use it for a short period of time, not longer than 5-7 days, without a doctor's recommendation.

Contraindications

Dry rhinitis (with the formation of scabs); hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the other ingredients of the preparation; should not be used in children under 1 year of age.
