Product description

The preparation is intended for use in the following cases - pain of various origins of mild and moderate intensity - pain in muscles and joints, neuralgia, pain in the sacral area.
1 film-coated tablet Nurofen Muscles and Joints Forte contains 400 mg of ibuprofen, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations (NSAIDs) with analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties.
preparation for short-term use. The preparation is intended for oral use only in adults and children aged 12 years and over.

Recommended dosage:

Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 tablet every four hours. Take the tablets with water. Do not use more than 3 tablets a day.
Do not increase the recommended dose! In the event of an overdose, consult your doctor. If you have the impression that the effect of the preparation is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor.
The preparation is intended for short-term use. If symptoms persist or worsen, or if new symptoms occur, contact your doctor.
The lowest dose possible should be used for the shortest possible time. This reduces the risk of side effects.
Do not take the preparation  for more than 3 days, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
For adolescents 12 - 18 years of age, medical advice should be sought if treatment is required for more than 3 days or if symptoms worsen.

Contraindications

The medicinal product is contraindicated in patients:
• with hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any of the excipients of the medicinal product;
• have ever had a history of hypersensitivity reactions (e.g. urticaria, rhinitis, angioedema or bronchial asthma) after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations (NSAIDs),
• with active or history of peptic ulcer and / or duodenal ulcer or bleeding (two or more distinct episodes of proven ulceration or bleeding),
• with a history of perforation or bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract, related to previous NSAID therapy
• with severe liver failure, severe renal failure or severe heart failure (NYHA class IV),
• taking other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations, including COX-2 inhibitors (increased risk of side effects),
• in the last trimester of pregnancy,
• with a hemorrhagic diathesis.
