Indications:

Acute bacterial diarrhea without signs of general infection (travelers' diarrhea, food diarrhea, gastroenteritis).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the preparation ingredients, do not use in children under 7 years of age. Ask your doctor for advice before use during pregnancy and breast-feeding.

Action:

Nifuroxazide has antibacterial activity against most bacteria causing intestinal infections. The preparation acts on gram-positive granulomas of the genus Staphylococcus and Streptococcus and gram-negative microorganisms (Salmonella, Shigella, Klebsiella, Escherichia). It does not affect bacteria of the genus Proteus, Pseudomonas, Providentia. Does not disturb the normal microbiological balance of the digestive tract.
The preparation works quickly, only in the intestinal lumen, is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, does not exert a general effect. It is quickly excreted from the body.
