Product description

Akneroxid 5 is an anti-acne preparation for topical application to the skin. The active substance of the preparation is benzoyl peroxide. The active substance is an oxidizing compound that easily penetrates into the stratum corneum. It has local anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-seborrheic, mildly keratolytic (exfoliating), drying and anti-itching properties. Akneroxid 5 It has a beneficial effect on the keratosis disorders occurring in the course of acne in the area of ​​the sebaceous glands. It reduces the number of blackheads. It inhibits the growth of Propionibacterium acnes anaerobic bacteria, which are one of the causes of common acne. The preparation is intended for external use, topically on the skin.

Indications

Akneroxid 5 50 mg / g is used:

in the treatment of acne vulgaris.

Composition

1g of gel contains:

• active ingredient: benzoyl peroxide 50 mg,
• excipients: macrogol, lauric ether, carbomer 940, sodium hydroxide, edetic acid, purified water.

Action

Antibacterial, anti-seborrhoeic, exfoliating.

Dosage

For topical application to the skin.

The preparation is applied twice a day to the affected skin.

The preparation is applied in a thin layer after thoroughly cleansing the skin.

Typically, the treatment period is 4 to 10 weeks.

Contraindications

Allergy to any component of the preparation.

Do not use in the eyes and on mucous membranes.
