Product description

Altaziaja is a gel medicine intended for topical application to the skin. The active substance is aluminum acetate tartrate with astringent and anti-swelling properties. Altaziaja relieves pain in the area of ​​inflammation, moreover, thanks to the menthol content, it has a cooling effect.

Indications

Altaziaja is used topically:

• in bruises,
• in articular swelling,
• in post-traumatic edema,
• in edema after 1st degree burns.

Composition

1g of gel contains:

• active ingredient: 10 mg aluminum acetate tartrate,
• excipients: menthol, ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, ethanol 96%, carbomer, triethanolamine, purified water.

Action

The preparation relieves pain in the area of ​​inflammation, moreover, thanks to the menthol content, it has a cooling effect.

Dosage

Altaziaja is for topical use.

Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, apply a small amount of the gel to the painful areas 3 to 4 times a day, preferably in the form of compresses.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the preparation.

Open, extensive wounds.

Infected skin, diseased.

In children under 3 years of age.

Storage

Keep out of the reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.

Side effects

This medicine, like any other medicine, can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Symptoms of local skin irritation may occur after use of the preparation.

If irritation symptoms intensify or irritation symptoms persist after a few days, discontinue use of the preparation.

Uncommon (affects less than 1 in 100 but more than 1 in 1,000 patients):

• indigestion, stomach pain, nausea
• various types of skin rashes,
• hives and itching.

Rare (affects less than 1 in 1,000 but more than 1 in 10,000 patients):

• diarrhea, gas, constipation, vomiting, gastritis
• dizziness,
• irritability, fatigue.

Very rare (affects less than 1 in 10,000 patients):

• peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal perforation or bleeding, tarry stools, bloody vomiting, ulcerative stomatitis, worsening colitis and Crohn's disease
• aseptic meningitis,
• heart failure and swelling
• decrease in hemoglobin.

Not known (cannot be estimated from the available data):

• airway hyperresponsiveness, e.g. asthma, asthma exacerbation, bronchospasm, shortness of breath.

Some other medicines may affect or be affected by the treatment with Altaziaja. Therefore, before taking Altaziaja with other medicines, always consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Warnings and Precautions

Protect the eyes and mucous membranes from contact with the preparation.

Do not use on wounds and damaged skin.

No cases of overdose have been reported when used in accordance with the indications and recommended dosage and method of use.
