Product description

Abiclav tablets for the treatment of bacterial infections in adults and children caused by microorganisms sensitive to the preparation:

respiratory organs;
organs of the genitourinary system;
organs of the digestive tract:
skin and soft tissues.

Storage

Active substance: amoxicillin;

1 tablet contains amoxicillin trihydrate in terms of amoxicillin - 500 mg;

Excipients: cellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, dispersible; crospovidone; vanillin; mandarin flavoring; flavoring lemon; saccharin; magnesium stearate.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to amoxicillin or other beta-lactam antibiotics (penicillins and cephalosporins), as well as to auxiliary substances of the preparation.

Application method

The preparation should be prescribed regardless of the meal (before meals, during meals, after meals). Augmentin DT can be swallowed after drinking 1 glass of water, it can be diluted in water (in 20 ml - ½ glass) to form a sweetish suspension with a pleasant lemon-tangerine taste.

The use of the preparation during pregnancy should be avoided, except in cases where the benefit of its use outweighs the potential risk.

The preparation should be used by children aged 1 year and older (in this dosage form).

Overdose

Symptoms Adverse reactions from the digestive tract and violation of the water-electrolyte balance may occur. Crystalluria caused by amoxicillin has been noted, which in some cases led to renal failure.

Convulsions may occur in patients with impaired renal function or those receiving high doses.

Treatment. Symptomatically, correction of the water-electrolyte balance. The preparation can be removed from the bloodstream by hemodialysis.

Side effects

The most common side effects are diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.

Storage conditions

Store in a place inaccessible to children at a temperature not higher than 25 °C.

Shelf life - 3 years.
