"Aqua Maris® Strong" is a hypertonic sterile sea water solution.

Peculiarities

The hypertonic solution provides a decrease in the edema of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity due to the removal of excess fluid from the intercellular space due to the difference in osmotic pressure.

It has an antibacterial effect.

"Aqua Maris® Strong" washes viruses and bacteria from the nasal mucosa, enhances local immunity, and has a local anti-inflammatory effect.

The trace elements that make up the preparation improve the function of the ciliated epithelium, which increases the resistance of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses to the introduction of pathogenic bacteria and viruses.

Indications

To eliminate edema of the nasal mucosa, especially for persons suffering from hypersensitivity to chemical preparations, including pregnant women and during lactation.

For the treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses and nasopharynx - such as:

Acute and chronic rhinitis.

Acute and chronic sinusitis.

Mode of application

Children from one year old and adults - 1-2 injections into each nostril 3-4 times a day for 2 weeks.
