The Aqua Maris® nasal rinsing system consists of the Aqua Maris® rinsing agent and an otorhinolaryngological device for rinsing the nasal mucosa of the individual Aqua Maris® Lake. Recommended for individual use and is used to treat and prevent various inflammatory diseases of the nasopharynx.

Means for washing "Aqua Maris®"

It is a 30 sachet bag with the salt of the Adriatic Sea, rich in useful trace elements and minerals. The product is used in conjunction with the Aqua Maris® Leica flushing device.

Peculiarities

When rinsing the nasal cavity with the Aqua Maris® rinsing agent, pathological contents along with viruses, bacteria, allergens and dust are removed from the mucous membrane surface, edema and inflammation are reduced, and capillary tone is increased.

Beneficial trace elements and salts of the Adriatic Sea have a beneficial effect on the mucous membrane:

calcium and magnesium ions significantly improve the functioning of ciliated epithelial cells, normalize the rheological properties of mucus, increase the resistance of the mucous membrane to the introduction of viruses and bacteria;

iodine and sodium chloride have an antiseptic effect, and also activate the production of protective mucus;

zinc and selenium ions stimulate local immunity of the nasal mucosa and paranasal sinuses.

1 sachet contains 2.97 g of sea salt.

Individual otorhinolaryngological devices for rinsing the nasal mucosa "Aqua Maris® Leica"

It is a plastic container with a volume of 330 ml for the preparation of a solution for rinsing the nose.

Peculiarities

The otorhinolaryngological device "Aqua Maris® Leica" allows you to conveniently and safely rinse the nose along the entire length of the nasal passages.

Fluid for flushing is supplied into the nasal cavity "by gravity", that is, without additional pressure, which avoids complications such as otitis media (otitis media).

The procedure is simple and safe even for children, pregnant and lactating women.

When rinsing the nasal cavity using the Aqua Maris® Leica device, pathological contents along with viruses, bacteria, allergens and dust are removed from the surface of the nasal mucosa, edema and inflammation are reduced, and capillary tone is increased.

Recommendations for use

The Aqua Maris® nasal rinsing system ensures effective and gentle release of the nasopharynx from mucus and foreign particles and is recommended for use:

• with acute and chronic rhinitis;
• with ARVI;
• with allergic rhinitis;
• with acute and chronic sinusitis, frontal sinusitis, ethmoiditis;
• with adenoiditis;
• with increased dryness of the nasal mucosa and the formation of crusts;
• frequently ill patients;
• after surgery on the nasal cavity (as recommended by a doctor).

Mode of application

Cut open the bag and pour the sea salt into the device.

Fill the device with boiled water at body temperature to the mark and stir until the salt is completely dissolved.

Find a comfortable position in front of the sink. Tilt your head forward and turn slightly to the side.

Take a deep breath and hold your breath. Place the tip of the device against the superior nostril so that it is firmly pressed against it.

Tilt the device so that the solution begins to flow from the tip of the device into the nasal passage. The solution will flow out of the opposite nostril.

To remove residual solution from the nose, blow your nose without changing your head position.

Then blow your nose in an upright position.

Repeat the procedure on the other nostril.

After use, rinse the device with cool water and dry it well.

It is recommended to use a sea salt solution daily.

May be used during pregnancy and lactation.

Precautionary measures

Do not use after the expiration date.

Contraindications

• acute otitis media and exacerbation of chronic otitis media
• individual intolerance to the components of the rinsing agent
• frequent nosebleeds
• benign and malignant neoplasms in the nasal cavity
• complete obstruction of the nasal passages
• children's age up to 3 years

Storage conditions

Operation, storage, transportation are carried out at an ambient temperature not higher than 25 ° C.

The medical device should be stored in a dry place out of the reach of children.

Shelf life is 3 years.
