Aqua Maris® nasal spray maintains the normal physiological state of the nasal mucosa.

Peculiarities

Sterilized isotonic sea water leads to mechanical cleaning of the mucous membrane from dust, mucous secretions and other pathogenic factors (bacteria, allergens, viruses) acting on the mucous membrane.

In inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity with abundant formation of mucus and mucopurulent secretions, the use of this agent promotes faster mucus evacuation, enhances the effect of local preparations and facilitates breathing.

"Aqua Maris® nasal spray" helps to cleanse the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity from street and room dust.

Due to its properties and composition, the agent restores the functions of the nose, thereby reducing the severity of the local inflammatory process and reducing the risk of complications.

Aqua Maris® nasal spray improves the function of the ciliated epithelium, which increases the resistance of the nasal mucosa and paranasal sinuses to the penetration of pathogenic bacteria and viruses, washes away and removes allergens and haptens from the nasal mucosa.

Recommendations for use

• in acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the nasopharynx, paranasal sinuses and nasal cavity of various etiologies (rhinitis, sinusitis);
• as a means of prevention and in the presence of an acute respiratory disease, ARVI, with a cold;
• to cleanse the nasal mucosa from dust, allergens and infected mucus;
• with infectious diseases of the nose and nasopharynx in the autumn-winter period;
• as part of the complex treatment of adenoids;
• to prepare for the introduction of preparations into the nasal cavity (to improve their absorption);
• to alleviate the patient's condition with allergic, vasomotor rhinitis;
• with dryness of the nasal mucosa;
• as a means of daily hygiene of the nasal cavity for persons who live and work in rooms with conditioned air and / or central heating, in order to preserve the physiological characteristics of the mucous membrane in changed microclimatic conditions; people in whom the mucous membrane of the upper respiratory tract is constantly exposed to harmful effects (smokers, vehicle drivers, people working in hot and dusty workshops, as well as living in regions with harsh climatic conditions).

Isotonic sterile sea water solution with natural salts and trace elements.

Purified water.

Mode of application

For therapeutic purposes:

• children aged from one month to one year - 2 injections into each nasal passage 4 times a day (with a nozzle for children);
• children aged one to 7 years - 4 times a day, 2 injections into each nasal passage (without a nozzle for children);
• from 7 to 16 years old - 4–6 times a day, 2 injections into each nasal passage (without a nozzle for children);
• adults - 4–8 times a day, 2-3 injections into each nasal passage (without a nozzle for children).

For preventive purposes:

• children aged from one month to one year - 1-2 injections into each nasal passage 1-3 times a day (with a nozzle for children);
• children aged one to 7 years - 1-3 times a day, 1-2 injections into each nasal passage (without a nozzle for children);
• from 7 to 16 years old - 2-4 times a day, 2 injections into each nasal passage (without a nozzle for children);
• adults - 3-6 times a day, 2-3 injections into each nasal passage (without a nozzle for children).

To soften and remove nasal secretions: in cases where significant accumulations of nasal secretions have collected in the nasal passage, the agent is injected into each nasal passage to the patient who is in the supine position, with his head turned to the side; the remainder of the liquid that flows out is eliminated with cotton wool or a handkerchief; the procedure can be repeated many times until the accumulations of nasal secretions deposited in the nasal passage are softened and removed.

Can be used during pregnancy and lactation.

Precautionary measures

Do not use on children under one year of age in a form without a children's attachment.

Do not use in children under one month of age in a form with a children's attachment.

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the components of the product.

Due to the chemical composition and concentration of the components, the duration and frequency of use of the product are not limited, the product is safe for long-term use, does not cause addiction.
